Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how EOR Lens ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you visit eorlens.com or submit a form on the site.

Information we collect

• Contact form submissions, the name, email address and message you submit via the contact form, used to respond to your enquiry. We email your message and a reply-to address to our own admin inbox and log basic delivery status (recipient, template, timestamp, success/failure) in our email-sending records.
• Team quote requests, when you use the "Hiring a team?" form, we collect your email address plus whatever optional fields you fill in (name, company, team size, hiring countries, notes, HQ country) and a snapshot of the calculator scenario you were viewing. This is stored in our leads database and emailed to our admin inbox so we can reply with a costing.
• Emailed cost reports, when you ask us to email you a copy of your calculation, we collect the recipient email address and use the cost figures already shown on screen to generate a one-off email. We do not add this address to a mailing list or leads database for that action alone.
• Email delivery and unsubscribe records, for any email we send you we keep a delivery-status log (recipient, template, status, timestamps) and, if you unsubscribe, we record your address on a suppression list so we stop emailing it.
• Server logs, IP address, user agent, and request path retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes (for example, rate-limiting form submissions).
• Outbound provider links, when you click through to a provider, that provider may set a cookie on their own domain. Where EOR Lens has an affiliate or referral relationship with a provider, marked links pass through that provider's tracking destination, which may set its own cookie and tell us, at most, that a referral occurred. EOR Lens receives no personal data back from any provider. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How we use it, and who sees it

Form submissions are used only to respond to the request you made: answering a question, replying to a team costing request, or sending the one-off cost report you asked for. We do not run a marketing or sales email sequence, and submitting one of these forms does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Data you submit is visible to the small EOR Lens team operating the site and to our email-delivery and database infrastructure providers, who process it on our behalf under their own security commitments. We do not sell personal data, and the only time your details reach an EOR provider is the introduction you explicitly ask for and agree to, described below.

Quote requests and provider introductions

Using the calculator, reading a country page, comparing providers or checking a quote never shares your details with a provider. Team cost and hiring enquiries are handled by EOR Lens. If you do not explicitly choose "Share my request with selected EOR partners", your request remains with EOR Lens and no Employer of Record provider receives it. If you explicitly choose that option, EOR Lens may share the relevant business contact details and hiring requirements in that request with selected EOR partners so they can contact you about their services and provide their own quotes. Partner sharing is optional. Marketing email is always a separate optional tick and is never bundled with an introduction request.

• You choose a named provider. Your request goes to that provider only. We never pass it to a different provider instead, and we never add other providers unless you separately tick that option.
• You ask us for introductions. You are asking us to identify suitable Employer of Record providers for that request, and you tick a separate, never pre-ticked confirmation before you send it. We may then share the business contact details and hiring requirements in that request with the providers we select as relevant, so they can respond. Selection is based on suitability, such as verified country coverage and what you told us you need. Asking for introductions does not mean every provider, or every commercial partner, receives your request. On some forms you can also name the providers yourself, and then only those named providers are introduced. Any quote you then receive comes from that provider itself: EOR Lens does not prepare or supply provider quotes. We record the confirmation you gave, its wording and version, and the providers your request was sent to.
• Fees. EOR Lens may receive compensation for introductions where applicable. Commercial relationships do not affect our statutory calculations, provider evidence, eligibility, provider rankings, Lowest verified cost, Top Match or editorial conclusions, and no paid introduction programme is live today.
• What we share. When you authorise it, we may share the business contact details, company, target countries, expected headcount, hiring requirements and scenario information you intentionally supplied in that request. We do not share your newsletter preference, unrelated calculator history or account information, internal notes, provider evidence, ranking internals or tracking data not needed for the introduction. We do not ask for employee or candidate details such as names, passports, addresses or ID numbers, and any quote document you upload is never sent to a provider automatically.
• Stopping it. You can withdraw at any time by emailing us. We record the withdrawal and stop sending new introductions using that consent, keeping only the minimum record needed to honour your preference.

Legal basis (EU/UK)

We process contact-form, team-quote and cost-report submissions on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to the request you initiated (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs, rate-limiting data and suppression/ unsubscribe records are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure site and honouring opt-outs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention

We keep enquiry data (contact messages, team-quote requests, and related email delivery logs) for as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for, for example to respond to your enquiry, follow up, or resolve a delivery issue, and we do not currently run an automated deletion schedule for these records. If you ask us to delete your data, contact us and we will do so unless we need to keep it for a legitimate reason such as fraud prevention or a legal obligation. Suppression and unsubscribe records are kept indefinitely so we can continue to honour your opt-out.
